Why I Decided On A Burrow Sofa
Whilst furnishing my new apartment, I’ve done so much research to find the perfect sofa for me. After all, the sofa is often the centerpiece of your living space, so it of course needs to be stylish. It’s also where you’ll spend a lot of time lounging around, so it also needs to be super cozy and durable.
To add a bit more of a challenge to my personal sofa hunt, my small one-bedroom apartment (some may even consider it a studio) is just about 600 square feet. The final factor for me was a sofa that could convert into a bed so that I can comfortably host guests from time to time.

My Burrow Sofa Arrival and Assembly Experience
The stock availability of the customizations you choose will determine how long your Burrow sofa will take to get to you.
Currently (as of the publishing of this article), due to production setbacks and increased demand, all of Burrow’s seating options have been on delayed schedules. As such, it’s best to check the shipping times for the specific customization you want, so you know what to expect and can plan accordingly.
Luckily for me, with the customizations that I ordered my order shipped out pretty promptly. My order was delivered and shipped within just a couple of weeks!
As an aside, to purchase an already configured piece that’s ready to ship right away, you may also consider checking out an open-box Burrow sofa on a site like FloorFound. FloorFound is a third-party reseller that sells high-end open-box furniture finds at discounted prices.
My Burrow Nomad sofa came delivered (if my memory serves me correctly)in about 7 individual boxes, all labeled boldly as to what was inside the box. In the box clearly labeled to be opened first, was a booklet with step-by-step instructions on how to assemble my Burrow sofa.
It took me about 2 hours to unbox and assemble my Burrow Nomad sofa by myself. Honestly, I read through the instructions once, and the assembly itself was pretty easy and very straightforward. Besides a little more elbow grease for certain parts of the assembly, I had no trouble at all.

On The Look And Feel Of My Burrow Nomad Sofa Sectional
Once fully assembled, there’s no denying that the Burrow Nomad sofa is a beautiful piece of furniture. Especially in my small living space, it looked just perfectly elegant, modern, and chic.
Initially, I was a little unsure about my choice to go with the brass finish legs as opposed to the wood finish legs, but seeing everything put together in my space, it was actually perfect! I also adored the Ivory color which didn’t overwhelm my space and looked very pretty.
Is Burrow Sofa Comfortable?
Yes, in my experience the Burrow sofa is comfortable. The Burrow Nomad sectional sofa specifically I can say is very comfortable — especially so if you appreciate a firmer feel.
In terms of overall feel, my honest first impression sitting on the Burrow Nomad sofa initially was that it felt, well, quite small. Although comfortable, and perfectly proportioned for my modest apartment space, for some reason expected it to feel a bit bigger.
After test-driving the couch for a few weeks now, however, the size is actually perfect for me. I’m a tall girl, and I can lounge very comfortably on the couch. One night I also made use of the Burrow Nomads sleeper functionality and I was able to stretch my long limbs out fully. Furthermore, the firm and flat base was very cozy throughout the night.
Overall, if you can appreciate a firm feel, the Borrow Nomad sofa is cozy (especially when you add some plush pillows and a throw). In addition to it being beautiful to look at, you can really tell that the fabric and built quality of this Burrow sofa is made to last.
Is Burrow Sofa Bed Pet Friendly?
Are there any dog lovers in the house? How about my cat people? If you’ve got a furry friend (or maybe you shed a lot of hair yourself), here are my two cents on if the Burrow sofa is pet friendly.
As far as dog hair or pet hair and the like are concerned, I will say that with the fabric I choose, Burrows performance fabric in the color Ivory, you of course are able to see little dark hairs that land on the fabric. That would be an issue with any couch that is light in color, however. And it’s nothing a lint roller and some elbow grease won’t fix.
If pet hair on the couch is a concern, you may want to consider a darker color than I to better camouflage it.
On Durability
I said this was an honest Burrow review right? As to the integrity of the brand’s scratch and stain-proof claims, I can’t (yet) say ya or nay — I honestly love my new couch and am not willing to intentionally put those claims to the test. When however I inevitably spill something on my sofa, I’ll come back and give this Burrow review an update. 😉
I will say that the fabric looks and feels luxurious and definitely high quality, so I’m optimistic that Burrow’s promises will hold true. If it doesn’t, Burrow backs up their pieces with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty(note that our warranty isn’t transferrable and can’t be extended to cover a re-sold item).
