The re-development of “Little San Juan”, the former nickname of this industrial district, has allowed for a great investment boom in this unique neighborhood — the major reason why people flock to this area in droves. Many venues and restaurants for brunch in Wynwood have fairly affordable prices. There are also several options for street parking and transportation, so there’s no reason why you should hesitate to visit this Miami gem.

Speaking of eats, in this guide we’ve got you covered on some of the best brunches in Wynwood to experience in this neighborhood full of vibrance and culture.

1. Morgan’s

@morgansmiami

Let’s start with one of the OG brunch spots in Wynwood. Morgan’s has the best chicken and waffles and mimosas by the pitcher. As a local, this was one of our first brunch experiences in Miami and after all these years it is still a favorite brunch spot in Wynwood.

Keep in mind that they do not take reservations so be prepared to wait if you get there during peak time. Morgan’s is one of the top brunches in Wynwood with a consistent reputation so we promise the wait is worth it.

Whether you decide to sit indoors or out on the patio, the ambiance will make you feel cozy. On the interior, there are walls decorated with colorful wallpaper and the seating is reminiscent of the couches in your own home.

It’s so welcoming here and the food is delicious, with hearty options like the traditional English breakfast, steak and eggs or an amazing french toast stuffed with marscapone and raspberry.

The best thing about Morgan’s is that their brunch menu is available until 5:00 pm. Every. Single. Day.

2. Little Hen

@littlehen_

The perfect boho chic tea party-themed brunch is located in Midtown (just outside of Wynwood) at Little Hen. If you like all things floral, pink, and pretty then the decor alone will have you sold.

As you walk in there is a floral archway that will have your timeline popping so come ready to pose with a friend or if you’re solo bring a tripod. Once you enter, the patio is decked with umbrellas tapered with fringe, and tables are surrounded by benches covered with pillows.

Here, you can wear your cutest dresses and fascinators if you so please. It’s as if you are entering the set of Bridgerton and you’re going to eat lunch with Lady Whistledown in your Sunday best.

If we haven’t convinced you yet, how does a stack of rose petal pancakes and a cotton candy champagne to wash it down sound to you? Their menu is so deliciously diverse from a dish called Divorced Eggs to a high tea setting with selections of sandwiches, sweet treats, and different teas but please note this option must be reserved separately at least 24 hours before.

Little Hen is open during the week however the last seating is at 3:00 pm as they close at 4:00 pm, so plan to make reservations accordingly.

3. R House

@rhousewynwood

Looking for a fun brunch spot in Wynwood with a turn-up setting and tons of talent to perform for you and your squad? If so, we would highly suggest you make your way to R House Wynwood for their boozy Drag Brunch which is held on Saturdays and Sundays.

With tunes blasting from Beyoncé, J-Lo, and Nicki Minaj, to name a few, you can expect the unexpected! There might be some mimosa-influenced twerking, wigs flying, water splashing, and countless split landings but having a great time is a guarantee.

Keep in mind, the reservations are quick to fill up but can be done so on their website rhousewynwood.com. Additionally, it is a great place to celebrate birthdays and bachelorette parties and for 50 dollars per person, bottomless mimosas included, you can choose culinary options like the chimichurri cheeseburger slider, a Cuban breakfast croissant, or if you’re looking for meatless options, they have a limited vegan menu.

4. Dukunoo

@dukunoowynwood

Vibes are way up at this Jamaican restaurant in Wynwood called, Dukunoo. Brunch Unwind (their weekend brunch event) is a true lituation and has good vibes in the air from the minute you walk through the door.

The music is a 10 out of 10, the drinks are flowing and the food will have you daydreaming that you’re in Jamaica on the beach eating and vibing with your loved ones. Surprisingly, Miami does not have a large selection of Caribbean fine dining experiences so this is a true gem in the heart of Wynwood.

With traditional dishes like fresh off the grill jerk chicken, “Lik Youh Finga” oxtail, fish and festival or shrimp and grits, you’ll never leave with an empty stomach. Their brunch cocktail menu has cool drink selections like “Zombie”, “Kingston Lime” or “Wild Side” rum punch or classic bottomless mimosas for 25 dollars is always a good idea.

“Come fi di food, stay fi di vibes” is their slogan and they certainly live up to those expectations. Reservations are highly suggested so don’t wait too late to get penciled in or you just might be waiting in that long line outside. Please note, they do check id’s to enter.

5. Beaker & Gray

@beakerandgray

This rustic American eatery and bar, which is located off of 26th and North Miami Avenue, has one of the best brunches in Wynwood.

On Saturday and Sunday starting at 11:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm, savory bites are available for your devouring like their infamous crispy yucca to start, a Wagyu Burger that has bacon jam and a caramelized onion aioli, and for the sweet tooth fiends, get that guava skillet cookie pronto!

The drink specials, available until 3:00 pm, are on a 2 hour unlimited basis. You can mix and match any of these three; sparkling wine, mimosas or watermelon-mosa and they are all worth the try.

This unique collaboration that started in 2015, was birthed from two long-time friends, Executive Chef Brian Nasajon and Bar Director Ben Potts. They wanted to create an environment where the team works with them and not for them and they have succeeded in doing just that.

There isn’t a strict dress code but of course, the world is a runway so dress fashionable! Reservations can be made online through their website or directly through Resy, but should you need to cancel, please keep in mind that 24 hour notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee.

6. Bistro Cafe

@bistrocaferest

Although this little gem is located a few minutes away from the heart of Wynwood, it is a must. Not only are they known for their large portions, perfect for sampling and sharing, but their fun brunch drinks are a popular item on the menu as well.

The releaza is not only Instagram-worthy, they taste so good too. The paleta, also known as a popsicle in English, is served in the glass with champagne and gives the perfect touch for sipping and dipping. The fruity pebbles french toast is one of our favorites, and omelets are also a must.

Everything is a la carte so if you come with a group, we would recommend ordering a few large plates so you can try a few different things off the menu. If you are rolling solo, then there is always the option of taking the rest home.

If you need something else to wash all that good food down, their menu also offers delicious gourmet coffee beverages like the Oreo latte, edible glitter cappuccinos, and even freshly squeezed orange juice.

Please keep in mind that they do not accept reservations and are on a first come first serve basis. The line gets very long so early arrival is recommended.
