While I’m not sure yet I’ll be hitting the slopes myself this year, I couldn’t help to do some browsing and window shopping of the cutest snow outfit ideas and snowsuits for women this year. Every year i have dreams of skiing more and doing more outside. But I’m that busy type. I like being busy. Don’t get me wrong, busy is where I feel safe. Especially in the environment, we’re in currently. But does busy make us happy?
I’ve realized it’s being here, on my skis, camping under the stars, making breakfast in the desert, hiking through a field of wildflowers that truly makes me happy.I long to escape this life some days, to find a way that I can have more freedom to do the things that really bring joy and inspiration to my life. I feel a shift coming, maybe it’s the longer days, the signs of spring, future travel plans or the new moon on the way.

True Story: I learned how to ski when I was 6 years old. My brother took me up to a black and said “ok I’ll see ya at the bottom.” 😳 I had never cried so hard in my life. I side stepped the entire way down. But you know what?! I learned how to conquer a fear that day and broke down my barriers. I absolutely love skiing now and ironically am thankful for the discipline he taught me.
